How to Flash Mediacom SmartPad iYO 8 M-SP8CY:
- Download and extract the firmware
MEDIACOM-8CY-V8.zipon your PC. - Download and extract the
phoenixsuit_V1.1.0_20150325.rartool. - Install PhoenixSuit on your Windows PC.
- Open PhoenixSuit.
- Click on the “Firmware” tab in PhoenixSuit and load the extracted firmware image file (
.img). - Power off your tablet completely.
- Now, press and hold the Volume Down button and at the same time connect your tablet to the PC via USB cable.
- While holding Volume Down, quickly press the Power button 5–10 times until PhoenixSuit detects the device.
- A popup will appear in PhoenixSuit — click “Yes” to start the flashing process.
- Wait for the process to complete. Do not disconnect the tablet during flashing.
- Once done, the tablet will reboot automatically.
✅ Flashing completed! Your device should now boot properly.
Note: Make sure your tablet has at least 50% battery before starting. Flashing will erase all user data — backup if possible.
